Hi, I’m Ina L. Nara—writer, reader, and relentless seeker of stories that mess with your head and grip your heart. If you're into psychological fiction and twisted thrillers with mystery woven deep into the bones, you’re in the right place.
I write what I love to read: stories about people on the edge—emotionally, mentally, sometimes literally. Some recent reads that left me reeling (in the best way) include My Husband by Maud Ventura, The Happy Family by Shari Lapena, and basically anything Lisa Jewell has ever written. Her layered characters and slow-burning tension? Yes, please.
Why I Write
The stories I write always start with a single question: What happens when the human mind meets impossible circumstances? I’m drawn to emotional pressure cookers—those moments when people are forced to confront the darkest corners of their love, loyalty, or sense of reality.
That’s exactly what’s coming in my next book, The Love Chip—a psychological speculative thriller about a couple whose perfect love becomes a high-tech prison:
It was love at first sight. The way he looked at her, the way her stomach knotted every time he touched her—it never faded. They were electric, magnetic, inseparable. So when the Love Chip experiment promised ten million dollars to scientifically seal their love, saying yes was the easiest decision they had ever made. That was six months ago. Now, she’s bound to a man she once adored—but can hardly stand to be near. The chemistry that once sparked between them has twisted into something dark, something dangerous. The chip was meant to make their love unbreakable. They say only death can sever the bond. And lately, she can tell he’s been thinking the same thing she has—that’s exactly what has to happen.
Sound like your kind of read? Then stick around. This site is where I’ll share upcoming releases, behind-the-scenes peeks, reading recs, and thoughts on the delicious madness of human nature.
Thanks for being here—I’m just getting started. 💜
